In 2008, it seems more and more of Americas youth took the initiative to get involved in the political process, and since tattoos are very popular with the younger generation, political tattoos were destined to soon appear. Many young people are getting them, but it is not a decision to be made quickly or lightly.
People have started to get the logo of the political party that they support permanently placed on their body, but before you do that, you need to think about a few things. Organizations change their logos over the years, and if you get it on your skin, it might change a few years down the road. Also I recently saw one person place the logo of a politician that they support on their skin, and I would seriously recommend against doing this because both political parties, and candidates can and do change some of their positions on certain issues, and that issue may be a deal breaker for you. You may also have a change of heart, and switch parties, leaving you with a tattoo that advertises a party that you do not support any longer.

If you are absolutely set on showing your support for your party on your skin, be sure to find a high quality image, such as one from an online tattoo gallery, because your tattoo artist might not be familiar with the party or candidates logo, and you need a high resolution, and high quality large image for your chosen tattoo artist to work with.
