Women Will Love Your 8 Inch Penis - Find Out How You Can Get Yours Here!

We all know that the bigger you are in the trouser department, the more attractive you are to women. Of course, people will always try and say that size doesn't matter but if you are small then you'll know that it definitely does! I spent most of my early 20s trying to find a way to change my 3.5 inches into something a bit bigger but nothing seemed to work until I came across natural enlargement. Now, I'm the proud owner of a HUGE 8 inch monster and I want to tell you all how you could do the same...

Saw Bits

The secret way to grow...

Saw Bits

Natural enlargement is still a pretty well kept secret because only a few people know the science behind it. I think when you say the word science, some people get a bit scared off because they don't think they'll be able to understand it - but that really isn't the case here. I failed biology at school and I picked it up almost straight away so I'm sure you will too.

Thinking back to puberty...

The first thing you need to understand is why your penis grew so much during puberty. At this time, your body's number one priority was to make you grow - and that's what you saw such a substantial amount of growth happen. But, the important point here is that all of the growth was NATURAL. And that means that you can easily replicate the process of puberty and restart the very same growth again.

Restarting growth...

To do this, you will need to follow a natural enlargement guide. This will take you through everything you need to know and will ensure that your body is returned to the same state it was in during your teenage years. Effectively, the growth you see will just be continuation of your pubescent growth - and that means it will happen in a series of growth spurts (allowing speedy growth!).

Thanks to natural enlargement, my penis is bigger than I ever thought possible. I now consider myself to be a bit of a stud in the bedroom and I'm pretty sure my girlfriend thinks so too!

Search the Web For Free Scroll Saw Patterns

People would be surprised at the number of beautifully decorated items in a home that result from the careful use of scroll saw patterns. As visitors look around a room in a home they see wood objects that are created using a scroll saw and pattern, but in many cases they don't really think about how those beautiful pieces were made. A decorative wood frame holding a photo of a family member may have delicately cut heart shapes. Some of the intricate carving on chair legs and backs may have been cut using a scroll saw. In addition, patterns and designs on woodwork in the home can be scroll saw work as well.

Saw Bits

Of course, the basic reason to work with patterns is to take the guesswork out of the process. Use of a good pattern allows the woodworker to focus on guiding the wood, without having to "create" the pattern or follow a pencil line drawn free hand. But beyond that simple benefit are the amazing results that a practiced hand can produce with this type of saw.

Saw Bits

Getting the Most from Your Scroll Saw

Numerous blogs and message boards on the World Wide Web help scroll saw "artists" and craftsman share ideas and new patterns with others. These methods of communication allow individuals to ask questions and provide tips on the best ways to use the scroll saw and the dozens of available patterns. Not only is the scroll saw fan base growing, but the technology of the equipment continues to improve as well. Manufacturers continue to improve results with new types of blades, foot-pedal controls on tables and much more.

To really get the best results, the craftsman or amateur woodworker should always match the correct blade to the type of wood used, as well as to the pattern and detail desired. The next step is to be patient when cutting, allow the blade and wood to dictate how quickly the pattern is cut. Some people using the scroll saw have found that guiding the wood through the pattern too quickly causing jumping and uneven cuts. Best results come from letting the saw blade drive the action, while adjusting left and right as needed.

As the pattern is followed, it is essential that the scroll saw cut take the pencil mark with it. With practice, most anyone can align the scroll saw blade with the mark and cut it away as they proceed. A bit of practice should give the desired results, a design you can be proud of.

A number of sources offer free scroll saw plans that will work well for the patient amateur and the professional. In addition, there are good books with scrollsaw designs and patterns that have been created and tried, successfully, by others. While the use of these patterns does not guarantee perfection, they will certainly be a giant step in the correct direction. Using a skill saw properly is another matter, but that learning process is possible for just about anyone.

Here are a few ideas for using the scroll saw and patterns to create treasured items: wooden jewellery box; baby blocks; welcome sign.

With a nice pattern and a good saw (such as the Hegner scroll saw and other quality saws), it is possible to designs like a professional in no time.

Pumpkin Carving - Carve Like a Pro

#1 - Buy a carving kit
For detailed designs having the right tools are important. You can find pumpkin carving kits in stores that carry Halloween items. They should come with a drill tool, a poker tool and a couple mini-saws. The smaller teeth saws are better for fine detail work.

Saw Bits

#2 - Choose your pumpkin
Find a pumpkin that's roughly the dimensions of the pattern you want to use. For a very detailed pattern, a larger pumpkin will be easier to carve.

Saw Bits

Pick a smooth one that's free of scratches, dents, gouges or rotting spots. Also make sure it has a flat bottom so it will sit upright and not roll away. Wash and dry it thoroughly before starting.

Tip: Never carry the pumpkin by its stem.

#3 - Cut open a lid
Covering your table with plastic will make cleanup easier. Using a sturdy kitchen knife, cut an opening around the stem. Cut in at an angle to prevent the lid from falling into the pumpkin. Cutting a circle with a notch in it will make replacing the lid fast and easy. The hole should be an inch or two wider than your fist, to allow for scooping out the guts.

Tip: Try cutting a bottom opening instead, allowing you to place the finished pumpkin over a lit candle or electric light.

#4 - Scoop out the guts
Remove the bulk of the seeds and strings with you hands. Keep the seeds for roasting using the recipes in this book. Then using a big spoon, scrape the inner walls of the pumpkin until smooth.

Scraping the wall where your design will be to about one inch thick makes carving easier. You can check thickness by pushing a straight pin through the wall.

Tip: Thoroughly cleaning out the inside will make for the best presentation. Light bouncing off the inside of a smooth pumpkin creates the best image.

#5 - Print and attach the pattern
When printed, the patterns will be the size of a standard sheet of paper. You can reduce or enlarge the pattern to fit your pumpkin with a photocopier. With scissors, trim off the excess paper. Place the pattern over the area you made an inch thick. Tape the edges of the pattern to the pumpkin.

Tip: If you're having trouble getting the pattern to lie flat, you can cut slits in areas that don't detract from the overall image. Overlapping the slits in the paper with help the pattern curve over the rounded the surface of the pumpkin.

#6 - Transfer the pattern
Use a push pin to lightly poke holes along the lines of the pattern. To trace the image onto the pumpkins skin, you don't need to slice threw the whole shell, just puncture the outer skin.

Tip: For larger areas space the poke holes approximately 1/4 inch apart, for finer details poke closer together, the more poke holes the better your image will transfer to the pumpkin surface.

When you're sure you've poked along every line, remove the pattern and save it for carving reference.

Tip: If you have trouble seeing the dots after removing the pattern, you can rub flour over the design to turn the dots white, or connect the dots with a fine point marker.

#7 - Begin carving
Placing the pumpkin in your lap can help keep it steady. You should start by carving the smallest pieces first. Hold your carving saw tool like a pencil and insert it straight into the pumpkin, on one of the dotted lines. Begin sawing along the lines, connecting the dots.

Follow curved lines by gently turning the saw in the direction you wish to carve. For sharp corners, pull out the saw and reinsert at the new angle. Never twist the saw or it will bend or break. When cutting out the larger pieces, cut them into two or three smaller pieces to allow for easier removal.

Use the paper pattern as reference as you carve. You'll be removing the pieces that are shaded grey.

Tip: Work your way out from the center, saving the largest areas for last, removing large chunks will make your carving surface unstable. You can leave the cut shapes in place until you are finished cutting all lines to give the surface added support.

#8 - Final touches
Remove all of the cut pieces, and compare your pumpkin to the paper pattern. Placing a light inside the pumpkin will allow you to see the holes clearly. Use the detail saw tool to carefully trim the inside edges of any excess flesh.

Tip: Trimming in at an angle will allow more light to come through. If you accidentally break off a part of the design, you can reattach it with toothpicks.

#9 Rinse
Give the finished pumpkin a good rinsing in the sink. Spray some cool water through all the cut openings, getting rid of any of the dangling bits. This also gives the pumpkin extra moisture to look its best.

#10 - Preserve the pumpkin
Coat the cut edges with generous layer of petroleum jelly (like Vaseline) or white glue. Use your finger on large openings, and a cotton swab to coat the tiny openings. This helps seal in the pumpkin's moisture, extending its life to a week or more.

Tip: Storing a jack-o-lantern in the fridge when not on display, wrapped in plastic wrap keeps the pumpkin even longer. Soak a dried out pumpkin in water to bring it back to life.

#11 - Light it up
Using a light, light up the inside of your pumpkin. There are some great battery operated LED lights or for a more traditional look use a battery operated fake candle.

Tip: In today's world of liability it is not recommended to use a real candle as the potential for injury is heightened.

Choosing the Best Miter Saw - 6 Saws That Will Rock Your Shop

Miter saws are one of the most widely used power tools in the tool industry today, and for good reason; with sizes and styles to meet the needs of every degree of craftsmen, a miter saw can be found in nearly every wood-shop or garage. Because these saws are so portable and offer capacities for endless accuracy and convenience, a good miter saw will fast become your best friend whether you are a general contractor or a home hobbyist.

Saw Bits

To briefly review miter saw miter saw itself, they are generally designed to produce fast, accurate crosscuts into a workpiece, typically for framing or molding applications. Additionally, there are several types of miter saw available. The standard miter has a blade pivot from right to left to cut miters; this standard saw is however becoming less popular as compound miters have more applications and are only slightly more expensive. Compound miters have the ability to bevel cut, or tip the blade to either the left or right side (0° - 50°). Some can bevel in both directions allowing operators to miter and bevel within the same cut (-50° through 50°). Lastly, a sliding miter saw is just like a compound miter but with extension rods that allow the saw blade and motor to move forward and back. This motion increases the blade cut capacity enabling the cut length to be longer than the blade diameter. Sliding compound miter saws also have a depth cut setting to cut dadoes into materials at a variety of depths - with all these perks, however, they also tend to be the most expensive.

Saw Bits

With so much variety within the miter saw community, it can be difficult to discern which miter saw best suits your specific degree of need. It is true that professional builders generally require an entirely different saw than those craftsmen engaging only in simple home repairs. Ultimately, despite this surplus of options, there is a right miter saw for every craftsmen. Beginning, for our contractors and Bravehearts, with the most heavy-duty, high-quality miter saws on the market today, Makita, Festool, and Bosch each build machines capable of reinventing the miter saw as we know it.

Makita's LS1016L, with a 10" capacity is brilliantly handsome at no sacrifice to quality or functionality. As a dual-bevel sliding compound miter saw is also has some pretty exclusive technologies that quickly solidify this tool as a giant among other miters. The saw weighs only 52.2 lbs, and boasts the most compact design in its class. This, coupled with an exclusive dual sliding fence system (which allows for upper and lower fence adjustments which, in turn, equals greater cutting accuracy) and a linear ball bearing construction, renders the saw impossibly smooth, solid, and always accurate. This little giant from Makita is tough and smooth, and offers craftsmen a smaller, lighter, more manageable saw while still delivering authoritative power and all the innovative perks of an industrial saw.

Bosch also builds an exceptional miter saw; their 5412L dual bevel sliding miter saw is extremely powerful with large capacities and up-front controls. Although a bit heavier than some other models, the 5412 12" capacity miter saw is an ergonomic wonderland with a specially designed multi-position main handle that allows craftsmen to comfortably lock into four different positions. The tool also has sliding extensions slide that come standard and make working with longer pieces of stock and lumber much more manageable if not wholly enticing. The miter also features high fences (a crowd pleaser every time) to accommodate workpieces like large crown molding. A good fence is a big benefit, and this saw offers not only that, but the confidence of a strong and durable tool.

From Germany's Festool, the Kapex is a modern marvel of power tool engineering delivering craftsmen some of the most innovative components in the industry. In addition to being, essentially, the best sliding compound miter saw in the business, the Kapex offers some features that truly set it apart from any other model. To name a few, the Kapex offers a ridiculously smooth and constant blade speed coupled with variable speed control ensuring your cutting speed is always consistent with each application. The saw also has an ingenious trenching capability which allows craftsmen to cut trenches for smooth and strong joinery, or to maneuver around obstacles, like pipes, as you cut. The Kapex is an extremely precise multipurpose saw, but what's more - it's surprisingly simple to use. Perfect lines and angles are made more easily with the Kapex's fraction of a degree accuracy - once you set a miter angle, rest assured it will be exact. The saw is as strong as a brick house, but performs with ethereal precision to bring you the most professional results with each and every cut. However, as the Kapex is an unconscionably brilliant power tool, it also tends to be the most. It is important to remember, though, that in the business of power tools, you always get what you pay for.

However, if price is a bigger factor, or if you are a strictly light-duty user, there are many fine miter saws available to meet your big or small industrial needs while also not burning a hole through your wallet. For example:

Makita's LS1040 compound miter saw, with its light-weight portability and powerful motor, sits brilliantly in any home shop or garage. Weighing only 24.2 lbs, an extremely low and terribly convenient weight for such a powerful and functional tool is extremely easy to move about your home or shop. It can also be easily transported from one job or project to another. This saw provides a welcome and down-sized alternative to the bigger, super heavy-duty miter saws of the industry, while still offering big power and compound cutting operations. Its 10" capacity is big enough to tackle most heavy applications, and its Makita motor is just as powerful as many of the industry's bigger saws. Ultimately, this little sucker has a bit more punch than you might expect, but rarely does one complain of having a surplus of power and charm as this tool certainly does.

Additionally, Bosch's 4410L (10") dual-bevel sliding miter saw is another ideal addition your shop or tool shed. Working hard to bring the work of craftsmen and hobbyists to life, the tool's large pivoting fence and convenient positive stops render the saw truly perfect for home-repair and carpentry projects, and although this saw's truest reign may only be over the garage, it certainly has the capacity to conquer many industrial and heavy-duty applications. Its ergonomic, four-position pivoting handle locks into one of four different positions as you work, thus, totally optimizing your user control, and with up-front controls the saw is comfortable, simple, and generally quicker to use. The saw has high fences for greater cutting capacity, especially with crown molding, and its superior sliding extensions make working with larger materials a far simpler process. This is a big saw, with a big bite - and while its nearly big enough for your general contractor, its perfectly suited for every craftsman, hobbyist, and do-it-yourself-er.

Hitachi also builds a formidable light-duty compound miter saw in their C10FCE2. With an intensely powerful motor and full range of cutting flexibility, the saw, truly, has the authority to boast its colors at any contractor's jobsite while still being perfectly suited for homeowners. The CF10FCE2 is comfortable to use, and is extremely lightweight at only 26.3 lbs enhancing its portability. An extended flip fence raising 4" allows users to accommodate large workpieces and vertically cut crown molding, and with convenient access to the saw's brushes, replacing these little buggers is a nearly effortless task.

When searching for high-end power tools at a low price, craftsmen should also look for reconditioned tools. Reconditioned tools, or recons, although sometimes hard to come by, are an extremely great value bringing craftsmen the highest-performance tools at a tiny fraction of regular cost. Recons, for some minor cosmetic or technical defect, have been returned to the manufacturer for stringent inspection and restoration processes. These tools are tested and restored to meet rigid manufacturer standards and are then re-released with a "R" trailing the model number. This little "R" (and potentially hundreds of dollars) is truly the only difference between a brand new tool and a recon. The value with these tools is truly a no-brainer; when recons are available, snatch them up as an incomparable investment. Dewalt's DW718R and DW716R miter saws are tremendous examples of the value of buying reconditioned.

Ultimately, although there are many outstanding options in the word of miter saws, there is always one that best suits you and your specific, professional needs. Do your research, and the right tool will surely find you.

Lotro Leveling Guide For Dwarves

When I first started playing Lord of the Rings Online I made a Dwarf champion, I chose Dwarf because I like how they express greatness when they are so small. The start-up area got me confused though, Thorin's Hall is a very large place, so I used this LOTRO Leveling Guide to get around. Shortly after I started using it I noticed I skipped some important quests because the area was so large. I hope the LOTRO Leveling Guide I used will help you too.

SDS Carbide Tipped Drill Bits For Drilling Concrete

What is a carbide tipped drill bit?

Saw Bits

Whenever a post-installed concrete anchor is being used to attach a fixture to cured concrete, a hole must be drilled in the concrete. One popular type of drill bit that is used to drill into cured concrete is the SDS carbide tipped drill bit. SDS is simply the bit retention system - or how the bit is held in the drill. There is some debate as to what the "SDS" acronym stands for. The original German interpretation was "Steck-Dreh-Sitz" meaning Insert-Twist-Stay. As the bit evolved, it has come to be known as a Slotted Drive System or Slotted Drive Shaft. The SDS carbide tipped drill bit is a masonry bit designed for concrete drilling. But unlike ordinary bits, the SDS drill bit provides a longer service life. These carbide tipped masonry drill bits are more durable due to the hardness of the heads- making them tougher and more resistant to extreme loads.
How is a carbide tipped drill bit made?

Saw Bits

The SDS drill bit is made up of 5 parts.

1. First, there is the shank, which has two sets of grooves (for a total of four grooves) that fit into the hammer drill collar. The smaller of the grooves are two slots that are not open at the end and prevent the bit from falling out. The larger of the grooves are two grooves that extend to the end of the shank and when chucked in the drill, guide the SDS bit to a positive rotation. This set of grooves also allows the bit to slide in the chuck, enhancing the drilling torque and hammering energy of the tool.

2. The next component of the SDS bit is the land - which is the raised portion of the spiral (similar to the crest or peak of a wave).

3. The third area is the flute, or the trough section of the spiral. The flute facilitates the removal of the concrete dust as the hole is being drilled.

4. The last two components of the SDS bit are the head and the carbide tip, which work together to break up the concrete. The carbide is brazed on to the head to harden the tip of the SDS bit to assist in the breaking of the concrete.

How is this type of drill bit used?

SDS bits are designed for use with a rotary hammer drill. The SDS bit is placed into the end of the drill and is held in place by twisting the chuck of the drill, locking the bit in the collar. The SDS masonry bit is not held solidly in the chuck of the drill, but slides up and down like a piston. The slots in the shank of the SDS bit accept the two ball bearings in the spring loaded chuck of the hammer drill and will remain chucked until disengaged by the user.

The hammer drill should only be used in the hammering and rotation position when using an SDS bit to drill into concrete. The bit will both rotate and reciprocate at the same time. When the trigger is pulled on the hammer drill, a gear driven crank moves a piston back and forth within the pneumatic chamber. The compressed air within the chamber propels the SDS carbide steel bit forward, delivering a concrete destroying impact. The use of a SDS drill bit in a hammer drill can drill a 3/4" diameter hole, 4" in depth, in about 30 seconds.

A good rotary hammer drill can drive an SDS bit into concrete without too much effort from the user. In most drilling application pushing harder on the drill will speed up the process. This is not the case with a hammer drill and SDS bit. The SDS bit is actually reciprocating and turning at the same time. Pushing down on the drill will only slow its progress and cause the bit to deteriorate faster.
When should a SDS carbide bit be used?

The SDS carbide tipped drill bit is used for two reasons. The first is to drill holes into concrete, brick or block for the installation of a concrete fastener. The second is to drill holes in concrete, brick or block to create a path for installing wiring and plumbing.

When using an SDS carbide drill bit to drill into a wall, it is important to support the weight of the hammer drill. If the drill does not receive the proper support, the bit itself will carry a portion of the weight. This may cause undue pressure on the flute of the bit possibly causing the drill bit to break in the hole.

It is important not to drill a hole deeper than the intended drilling depth of the bit. This could cause an interruption in the dust removal and increase the amount of heat on the carbide tip. Heat build up on the carbide may melt the brazing material, allowing the carbide plate to move. This possibly could lead to the bit failing in breaking the concrete.
Some suggestions for increasing the life of your SDS drill bits:

* Before drilling, check to see that the carbide tip is in good shape.

* Inspect the connection to make sure that there is not excessive wear. This helps prevent the drill bits from getting stuck in the chuck.

* Lubricate the connection end of the bit to allow the bit shank to slide in the chuck. This is done by applying a small amount of grease to the grooves of the shaft (no more than a quarter inch dollop).

* Let the tool do the work. When used in a quality hammer drill, the SDS drill bit will cut into concrete with relative ease. Hold the drill level and apply pressure evenly throughout the hole drilling process.

The SDS shank is the most widely used shank type when drilling into concrete. The SDS shank has superb hammer performance, high torque transmission and the ease of one-handed, quick chucking operation.

Please remember with all fastening jobs to keep safety in mind. Always follow safety instructions on all tools, and refer to manufacturer's installation instructions when available and always remember to wear safety goggles!

Drills Drivers, Bits and Drill Driver Safety

One of the first thing you may look at when selecting a cordless drill driver may be the battery pack as the more volts your cordless drill driver has the more torque you will get. This essentially means that the motor will spin faster creating more power. The only drawback with this is that the more volts your drill has the heavier it will be.

Saw Bits

An adjustable clutch is what separates electric from cordless drill drivers. Located just behind the chuck, the clutch disengages the drive shaft of the drill, making a clicking sound, when a preset level of resistance is reached. The result is that the motor is still turning, but the screwdriver bit isn't. A clutch offers you control so you don't strip a screw or overdrive it once it's snug. It also helps protect the motor when a lot of resistance is met in driving a screw or tightening a bolt. The number of separate clutch settings varies on the drill; better cordless drill drivers have at least 24 settings. With that a lot of clutch settings, you can really fine-tune the power a drill driver delivers. Settings with the lowest numbers are for small screws, higher numbers are for larger screws. Many clutches also have a drill setting, which allows the motor to drive the bit at full power.

Saw Bits

Cordless drill drivers are measured in volts. Drills are available in everything from around 2 volts (for a cordless screwdriver) to the newest 24-volt tools. Higher voltage means heavier weight so think about buying a tool that will meet 80-90% of your needs. Twelve to 14.4 volt models are the most popular, and they will usually meet most homeowner's work needs. Corded drills are measured in amps. Generally, a higher amperage motor means more power.

Nickel-metal-hydride (NiMH) batteries represent the latest breakthrough in batteries. They're smaller and run longer than standard nickel-cadmium (Nicad) batteries. NiMH batteries also pose less of a hazard when it comes to disposal than Nicads because they don't contain any cadmium, which is highly toxic. Makita, Bosch, Hitachi and DeWalt offer NiMH batteries, and other manufacturers produce these power cells too.

Unlike Ni-Cd batteries, lithium-ion batteries may be charged early and often. However, if they are not used for a long time, they may be brought to a charge level of around 40% - 60%. Li-ion batteries may be kept cool. Ideally they are stored in a refrigerator. Aging will take its toll much faster at high temperatures. The high temperatures found in cars cause lithium-ion batteries to degrade rapidly. Storing a Li-ion battery at the correct temperature and charge makes all the difference in maintaining its storage capacity. It is significantly beneficial to avoid storing a lithium-ion battery at full charge. A Li-ion battery stored at 40% charge will last a lot of times longer than one stored at 100% charge, particularly at higher temperatures.

When drilling deep or large holes with a cordless drill driver, it is best to drill a small pilot hole first. This is very helpful when drilling deep holes because it's sometimes easier to keep the hole straight with a smaller bit. A larger bit will then normally follow the pilot hole. When drilling larger holes, especially in metal, the pilot hole opens an area in the metal to accommodate the tip of the larger bit so the cutting surfaces can more easily reach the uncut metal. Once you've drilled your hole, you'll probably find a burr on the back surface of your material. This can be removed by lightly drilling the back side of the hole with a larger bit. If the material is thin, such as sheet metal, instead of a burr you may find the material is actually distorted leaving a ragged hole. This be stopped by sandwiching the material between two pieces of wood before you drill the hole. As with all tools, exercise caution, wear safety equipment and learn to use the tools properly.

To drill a satisfactory hole in any material, the correct type of drill bit must be used; it must be used correctly and be sharpened as appropriate. Many jobs around the house require a hole of some kind to be drilled - whether it is putting up a shelf, building a cabinet or hanging a light fitting. For basic requirements, a set of high-speed steel twist bits and some masonry bits will probably be sufficient for the average handyman. But for more sophisticated jobs/material, others bits will be required - perhaps larger, or designed for a specific material/purpose. Good quality cordless drill driver bits can be expensive, so take care of them, keep them in a case or box if possible, rather than allowing them to roll around loose in a toolbox where the cutting edges may be damaged.

DIY Wood Railings

Think about a traditional home with a huge winding staircase. What is that imaginary staircase constructed of? It is most likely constructed of some type of wood, most likely a mahogany or teak.

Saw Bits

Preferring Wooden Railings

Saw Bits

For hundreds of years, people have been making all kinds of things with wood. Almost anything can be made with wood, from tables to chairs to dishes to railings. Wood gives an elegance to just about anything made from it, which is why it is so well loved and appreciated. Wood railings are very popular, due to the fact that they fit everyone's budget and they are elegant and beautiful.

Wood railings are durable and long lasting, too. They will stay beautiful for years and years as evidenced by the many castles in England that are over five centuries old.

Do It Yourself Wooden Railing

If your railing needs to be curving or winding, then you will want to leave the rail building to a professional. A winding railing is difficult to make and can be quite time-consuming as well. You may want to stick with maintaining the wood railing on your own, especially if the wood is heavy and hard to handle.

If your railings are straight, then you will be able to create your railings yourself. By using the proper tools that are easily available, you can make a beautiful railing that you will be proud of.

Tools To Build Your Wood Railings

Making wood railings can be comparatively simple if you use the right tools and have some wood working experience.

o Hand Saw

o Tape Measure

o Circular Saw

o Sanding Tools

o Power Drill and proper bits of 1/8" 3/16" & ¼" diameter

o 3/8" Hex Head Driver

o Edge Sharpening Tool and Pocket Hole Joining Tool

o Tape Measure

o 12-Inch Rough Files

o Level

o Pencil, T square, and other drawing instruments

o Hammer

o Safety Goggles, Gloves, and Mask

Gaining Experience

Straighter wood railings are the simplest to make. You can start with straight porch rails and then move to curved rails. All you need to do is practice with the straight railings and straight fences and then continue on to more curved and winding railings. With a little time and effort, you will be able to make your own wood railings for your home.

A wood fence is an easy thing to start with. You only need to learn some basic wood working methods and then you can keep practicing until you get the experience you need to start with railings outside and inside of your home.

How to Build a See Saw

A seesaw, also known as teeter board or teeter-totter, is a long, slender plank balanced in the middle so that, as one end goes down, the other goes up. In a playground, a person sits on each end and they alternately push their feet in opposition to the ground to raise their end into the air. It usually has handles for the players to hold as they sit facing each other. To construct your own playground, just follow the six simple procedures below.

Saw Bits

Required Materials

Saw Bits

Bolts
Cement
Sand
Screws
Padding
Water
Staples
Cover material
U-clamp
Post anchors
Metal U-frame or post stock
Metal tubing or 2×8" stock
10' metal perforated strap

Required Tools

Shovel
Hammer
Level
Tape measure
Staple gun
Pencil/paper
Wood drill with assorted bits
Metal drill with bits

Instructions

1. First, we have to build the foundation for the seesaw. On a plane area, layout the span of the see saw. Find the center of the area for two base holes. The two holes need to be at least one foot wide and six feet deep. Set a solid tube into the hole. The peak of the tube should be three inches underneath the surface of the ground. Connect an anchor to allow perpendicular supports.

2. After finishing the foundations, we have to build the posts. We can use the one-piece metal U-post system or two vertical posts joined by a metal pipe and bolted on at the ends to a steel/wooden post system. Attach the posts to the foundations.

3. After that, choose the preferred length of the lever. We can use metal or wood as material but be sure the wrap the lever with padding to add some safety measures. If we have to use wood, fasten a metal strip to the base of the stock to provide firmness. Bore holes for a seat into both ends.

4. Now place the handles by drilling a hole in the lever arm approximately eighteen to twenty four inches from the end of the lever. Drill another hole in a one by two inches piece of stock. Attach the vertical beam into the parallel lever and then add a cross member to the upright beam for the player to grip on to.

5. At the end of each seesaw, Attach foam covered with leather sheet to act as seats for the seesaw.

6. Once you are done, Sand down the sharp edges of the seesaw then paint the seesaw with the desired color. A non-lead paint is advised for the playground type seesaw since children will be using it.

Ladders - How to Use Them Safely

Everybody needs to use a ladder at some point, even Kareem Abdul-Jabbar! Sometimes a short one like a step ladder will do in reaching a light fixture just out of reach. Other times, it's an extension ladder maybe outside reaching the second story of a home. I will in that position last summer when I needed to wash off some mildew on the siding of my home. I had to learn in a hurry how to use a ladder safely. Either that or better off paying someone else to do the job for me. Here are some rules for using a extension ladder so that no one gets hurt.

Saw Bits

Don't use an old damaged ladder even if it has been repaired. Unless you are sure the repair makes the ladder truly as good as new. Don't get in a hurry. Take one step at a time up and down the ladder. And don't come down the ladder backwards. Always face forward toward the ladder where you can hang on.

Saw Bits

And then... this is one I have violated and should know better...don't reach beyond a comfortable reach. Go back down the ladder and move the ladder. Then go back up and easily reach what you need to. Failing to do this is one good way to fall off a ladder. I know because I've done it! Make sure your shoes are wet and don't have mud on them.

Make sure your ladder has safety feet. On my ladder these swivel on the bottom of the ladder legs and are made to prevent the ladder from slipping. Position these on a level surface and shake a bit to see that are holding steady.

The ladder you use must be the right length for the job. For example, if you are going onto the roof of your house, the ladder should rise at least 3 feet beyond the eave of the house. If the ladder is too long or too short you are likely not going to be able to get in the best position to do your work. Not only will it be uncomfortable, it will also be dangerous as you are more prone to fall off. If you have to get on the top 2 or 3 rungs of the ladder to reach your project, the ladder is too short. Don't do it, but get a longer ladder.

Like the bottom feet of the ladder, the top end should also be firm in its positioning. If you are painting get a small bucket and hooks when you get your paint. Use this from your extension ladder rather than trying to carry a full gallon paint up and down.
